The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester was the perfect location yesterday for our photography group to explore the theme ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’. Our photographers thoroughly enjoyed developing their skills in the Air and Space Hall, capturing the cars, bikes and aeroplanes that got industrial Manchester moving. They then went on to capture Stephenson’s Rocket, an early steam locomotive that won the Rainhill Trials 1829 to become the best locomotive to serve the Manchester to Liverpool railway. A fantastic experience for all with some amazing images being captured. Well done to everyone!
